I heard it was 6:30 so you just got an extra 3 1/2 hours. I'll look for ya on the other side.

Relax Bawanna. According to http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/outreach/tracts/may21/ tomorrow is only the beginning of the end. I read it on the Internet so it must be true!

The world isn't going to end of course, but I'm still using this as a great excuse to buy a shotgun at the gun show on Saturday!

Gosh darn, that's a fine idea. I might try that myself. We don't got a gunshow this weekend but I'll think of something. Fine idea!

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I'm in for the Mayan thing - it is right after our anniversary so if I forget a nice present I would be dead anyhow. Maybe this is another topic for Dear Dietrich?

Well guys if 2012 doesn't work, there is always that asteroid impact in 2034 (or was it 32?). Willeboy will probably have to mow the yard quite a few times before then though.

Well I woke up breathing but feel kind of like I got run over by Jocko on his Street Glide. Maybe this is the beginning they mentioned.
I tried the honey, this is the end I better go buy a new shotgun plan and the wife said to use what I already got. I told her this was serious and she said she was too. Go count how many you got. Damn. 11 so far. I don't think she's being fair. Maybe she don't likes me no more.
Anyhow don't want it all to end with an unsightly lawn so I'm gonna go mount the ridin lawnmower (I don't do pusher mowers too good) and do battle with grass, moss, and dandelions.
Hate to do this feeling poorly but I can play hurt.
Catch ya on the flip flop if we're still here. We pretty much got the whole country covered so report in if there's any sign of "The End".

I won the battle with the grass without mishap this trip, near fell off last trip but thats another very ugly story.
I'm headed out to start on some grips for Miss Melissa, I hope I have time to finish em before the end. If not, you'll always know I had the best intentions.

I am thouroughly impressed with the civility of this forum. A religous discussion that hasn't disintegrated into name calling and other foolishness. How cool is that?
I've studied a lot of religions and all of the good ones, deliver the same basic message: Do unto others and you would have done to you, and to love your neighbor. I guess my beliefs run a mixture of Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, with a smattering of others. I have a live and let live philosophy towards religion. It saddens me that more people have been killed in God's name, than any other cause. The dark age and middle age Catholics were particularly blood thirsty. Whole villages of Christians were slaughtered because they wouldn't bow down to the Pope. I don't hold today's Catholics responsible for what happened in the past, anymore than I hold the decendents of slave owners responsible for slavery.
I believe that people that were raised in a faith with good values, and practice their faith as they were taught will have good things happen to them in the afterlife. I think that when people of other faiths die, their religion shapes their afterlife. Like a dead Hindu will have a different experience than a dead Christian would.
I can't believe that millions of people that have never heard of Jesus Christ are going to be tormented eternally because they never heard the good news of Christ dying for our sins. I do feel that those who were raised Christian, and have turned their back on Christ, but still live a decent life and do good acts, may face an uncertain future in the afterlife. As far as the Bible goes, (King James version) I believe it's the best possible translation of the original writings that was possible at the time. Sure some words may have been misinterpreted, and other small errors crept in, but you have to look at the book as a whole, and go with the meaning of the book, and not get hung up on how some verse has been translated. Accept Jesus into your heart as your saviour, get Baptized, follow the Golden Rule and the 10 Commandments, listen to you conscience and your gut, and I believe you'll be good to go.
That's just my opinion that I've come up with over the last 35 years or so, everyone has their own. I'm glad to see we are able to discuss it in an adult manner. This forum ROCKS!!!

HY*NDAI is to cars, what Caracal, Hi-Point, and Jennings is to handguns. The cars may or may not run ok, but the corporation SUCKS.
