  • Hickok45 the shooter

I like some of his reviews and he seems to know his stuff, but what really impresses me about Hickok45 is he can shoot! This video is him putting a lot of rounds downrange at targets from near to far.

It's easy to be a little envious of his range!
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.

Yeah, he's a great shot for sure... Former competition shooter and apparently a very down to earth guy.

He also appears to be a genuinely likable guy.

His reviews were favorable to both the Kahr P380 and PM9.

+1 to all of the above! Don't you love that Butler Creek Universal LULA Pistol Loader? I have one on order.

And doesn't that Springfield Armory XDm-5.25 shoot sweet!? You know, I have been looking at 45acp for a full size gun, but that 9mm gun really comes back on target quickly for repeat shots. Plus, it would be using the same ammo as my carry gun. Hmmm.....
              Very interesting...

I LOVE his backyard range. I'm so jealous. that's my dream. The guy can shoot long range too with the little pistols.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I seen him at the NRA convention here in Pittsburgh and got to thank him for his videos and shake his hand. He is one really, really, big man. I was shocked how big he is. I'd post a pic but my wife forgot to bring the camera that day, she will never live that one down.

He has a very unassuming presence...unlike most of the numbnutz dipstick time-wasters that espouse firearms "expertise" on the Tube....and that appeals to me.

And yes, he can shoot....and it shows.

While watching that video,a thought struck me.If someone knew how to make steel targets the right size so they could tune them, this guy could be a whole bell choir right by himself. That would be waaayy cool.I`ve always enjoyed watching and listening to him.He seems so at ease doing what he does and he`s so casual and self effacing about his considerable skills you can`t help but like him.
In the area in which I now reside, when I`m placed in a group of four or five guys,I`m known as "the smart one".God help me.

I also like how he doesn't flinch or make excuses when he misses, just keeps shooting. Also, notice how he reloads standard mags. Just pops them in there like nothing, while my fingers hurt and sometimes the mag lips even cut the thumb (that's why I mostly use the Ula). He did use the Ula for those huge mags in the video and without a word.

I too enjoy his videos. I am sure that most of the manufacturers of the guns that he shoots love him too. He is bound to be responsible for a ton of gun sales. I have noticed that he seems to be getting more T&E guns from leading
                            makers of late.
BTW, he is a big man 80 inches (6ft. 8 inches) tall.

I was going to mention hickok45 and his Kahr review but looks like he is already general knowledge here. I thoroughly enjoying his videos and his radio show. I check him out everyday and Im a huge fan of his. His range is just awesome and the way he presents himself and the shooting community is secomd to none.
