Nice read. I think that Ayoob is the writer that first introduced me to Kahr.

Massad Ayoob is always a good read. He has that natural gunwriter style and he's very honest in his observations.
I thought the whole review could be summed up with the fact that so many people on the range wanted to shoot the Kahr....and DID.

I totally agree with both of you.

        Was carrying a SIG P239/357.
But it was just a little to big for easy pocket carry.
At the time I was considering a Sig P290, Kimber Solo or Ruger LC9.
While doing research I came across this article and that sealed the deal.

At age 69 I am obviously not as good a shooter as the writer but the rest of his description is perfect. With large hands you have to hang on and with the 40 it reminds you it is a 40. It rides on my belt in a Ryan Grizzle High Country and is very comfortable. Am selling another gun so I can finance the MK9 to use for more practice. Love the Kahrs = P380, PM9, MK40 elite.
"Honey, can I buy another gun?" Why another gun? "I just found out that I am two guns short of never enough."

I have small hands and I still have to hang on - LOL.
This gun is right at the edge of power/weight/size I can handle.
It's perfect for me. But I sometimes hesitate to recommend it due to
the two finger grip, 40 cal report and 25 oz weight. It's not for everyone...

It's kind of like a chopped, micro, all stainless 1911 DAO in the pocket!
