What Kahr pistols have you got?

It's a Gently used P9. I'll post picks when I get it on Monday.

I already have a couple of questions though...

1) Some of you say you had "factory" night sights on your guns. What brand of night sights do they put on at the factory, Trijicon or Meprolight?

2) I was on the Kahr website looking up night sights and they list two different types for "Old style slide" and "New style slide". How do I know which version I have?

I'm leaning towards the Big Dots but am still undecided. Any help in answering my questions is greatly appreciated.

Normally, virtually always Mepro.....although I understand Kahr customer service has said a few shipped with Trijicons.

Kahr has a tool right there at the order point to let you visually determine which slide dovetail cut you have. I'm thinking all of the P series came with the new style, but I could easily be wrong.

You can call them and provide your serial number to fund out which slide type you have. I would suggest having Kahr do the sight install for you. Then you can be sure to get the right sights installed without risk of damaging your gun. Those sights are very tight!

Worse...they're 609 Loctited. Takes a press or, if you're lucky, a machined jig.

P45 Covert - P45 I sent off and had the frame cut down to take PM45 mags. The best of both worlds: longer barrel/sight radius, shorter grip.

Mine's a black PM9094NA. Really a nice pistol. Box stock so far, but am considering a Crimson Trace sight.

A "new to me"

Kahr P9. This is my first. After a trip to the range yesterday I'm sold. I shot it like I stole it and it ate every type of ammo I fed down the barrel.

I have a Black Diamond PM 9 and a Pair of P380s! On Order and expected later this month I have P45 and P9 on the way. OH Both of these in Black Diamond Finish as well. I can hardly wait.

Picked up a PM45 and loved it, so I picked up a PM9 and loved it, so now I'm waiting for my P380!(all stainless with night sights)

My gun

I've got a Kahr MK9 with XS standard dot tritium sights, a stainless guide rod, and wooden grips. Best gun I have in terms of shootability. The reliability crown would probably have to go to my Ruger SP101, but the MK9 is a close second. I did have an issue with a slide crack at the area between the muzzle and guide rod openings, but the factory fitted a new slide.
