are these people really any better than us, They might think they are but for me they have to earn my respect, I think this thread has been kind to them. It is what it is Bawanna, people here and people many place do no like these two people. If they were presidents of a local union or leaders in my church, I would feel the same way. You have to earn my respect. I don't owe it to anyone..

All I know is if they (both of them) were anything but what they are they'd have been on the first train out of town long long before now.

The population is unbalanced when it comes to common sense and even moderate intelligence. Even dumb people like me know better than to do what they did in 2008.

It also reminds me that I have nothing to say about them anymore that is acceptable so I'll stick to momma's advise when she said if I didn't have something nice to say, don't say nothing at all.

Jocko, I dig your style and if theres enough days left I'd really like to earn your respect. Yeah right.

Hope my nephew Mikey is learning something from all this. Don't be a fool, stay in school. Actually thats a lie too. School is part of the problem but I'll not go into that for the same reasons listd above.

I'm off to the local gunshow to cleanse my spirits, maybe lighten my wallet, I think I got 27 bucks, and renew my enthusiasm.

I was eating lunch on the 20th of February with my 7 year-old granddaughter and I asked her, "What day is tomorrow?"
She said, "It's President's Day!"
She is a smart kid.
I asked, "What does President's Day mean?"
I was waiting for something about Washington or Lincoln ... etc.
She replied, "President's Day is when President Obama steps out of the White
House, and if he sees his shadow we have one more year of unemployment."

A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A black hearse was followed by a second black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash. Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file. The man couldn't stand the curiosity.

He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and this may be a bad time to disturb you; but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?"

"My wife's," answered the man.

"What happened to her?", the curious man asked.

The man replied, "She yelled at me, and my dog attacked and killed her."

He inquired further, "But who is in the second hearse?"

The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her."

A very poignant and touching moment of brotherhood and silence passed between the two men.

"Can I borrow the dog?"

The man replied, "Get in line

I have not replied to the original post and in reality, this is the first time I opened it since the first post. Can't believe that I forgot about the "Look shiny" that most threads go through.

BTW - I need to get in that line!
