P vs. C series guns

If you bought a P series instead of the cheaper C series, please tell me why. I'm inclinedd tto do the same, but maybe I don't need to. So, I would like to hear your opinions either way.

I bought the PM9 a couple of months before any CM9 became available but I'd go with the PM9 again.

1. Factory night sights
2. Two mags
3. Steel, not MIM, for the slide stop
4. Aesthetics

There is no NEED only a WANT.

I got the CW because what the P offered over the CW wasn't anything I needed. Of course the CW was actually for the wife and was her choice. I got myself the K because I prefer steel framed handguns. I had actually convinced the wife to get the MK instead of the PM she first chose but when she held the CW she knew it was the right one for her.

Incidentally she would prefer to carry a K9 but she can not operate the slide as well as she can with her CW9.

With the P guns you get;
* option of a black finish.
* polygonal barrel.
* second mag.
* wider choice of sights.

If these features don't matter to you, then don't bother with a P and buy a C.

patience: there will be a CM40. u can take that to the bank, now it might not pay interest real fast but it will pay off. My bet at the next shot show u will see the CM40...

I bought a CM9 becuase it was the same size as the PM9 but less expensive.

I'm now waiting for a CM45.

I think the CM45 line will be very long.

I suggest that Kahr let members here get a priority when they introduce it. I'm confident they will (of course don't know officially) that they will make one, just no idea when.

Right after the K45 would be a good time.

probably if a vote was taken ur right the cm45 would trump the cm40, k45 would be iffy but it could even prevail. It would be a big fokking gun though..

Old guys like me are not good at patience. As a result, I currently have two PM40's so the window of opportunity has closed.

That said, I'm sure there will plenty of other buyers when Kahr releases their new offerings.

Back to the OP's topic at hand, my PM9 was a GIFT from a very good friend (they don't get any better, do they?). After reading about the comparisons between PM and the CM/W, I am happier than ever to have my PM9 over the CM/W.

Why? Just 'cuz it's mine! Like most on this forum, I'm very happy with our Kahrs and the Kommunity that Komes with all Kahrs, PM or not.
