P vs. C series guns

Got PM9 three years ago before the CW9 existed. If I were buying today, I'd still go with the PM9 for the black slide and the night sights.

For me the difference what a non point between the P and C lines. The rifling as far as I can tell does not make a difference for the seven yards most common in self defense. Everything else is not a point of consideration for me, the black slide, well most of the time it will be in a holster so does not matter to me. The night sights I can add later, which I am thinking about now.

The magazine difference was not a contender for me as the gun shop I purchased my CW9 sells them for 27 and change out the door.

I got the P9 over the CW9 because where/when I bought it, the difference in price was only $80 and I would have wanted an extra mag with the CW. So......I would have been happy with the CW though.

I had a P40 and traded it for a CZ 40B, a rather rare collaboration between Colt and CZ now out of production. I use the CW9 as my hot weather ccw when a 1911 is a little inconvenient. I like it a lot.

Wow, you guys are making this a hard decision, but I really do want black and dovetail sights, I think. Hate to pay so much more! Looking used at this time.

You could do the stainless version, shoot it some and make sure all is well and then copy cat Thunder and get it Cerakoted. Seem's like he said it was around 70 or 75 dollars. You could have your own unique gun, all black or leave the slide stop polished or what ever you wish.
