I don't really know Melissa, so I would probably be out of line - otherwise I would also say "I can't believe she said that!"
Oops... maybe I just said that.

great feedback, thanks. Sounds like I better hold a 36 and a 30 before I do anything. Truthfully, I think my PM45 is on the verge of greatness anyways. If that happens, that's probably all the compact 45 I'll need!

There are a lot of people who insist that unless you walk around with ten or more rounds on board and two spare mags you are unprepared. I guess revolver fans disagree. Whether six or seven rounds is "enough" is something only you can answer, based on your most likely worst case scenario and your shooting skills under stress. For me, a PM45 is "enough" unless I go to certain places. Even then it's probably enough, but more ammo is reassuring (or pop in an extended mag!)

Yeah, I think too much ammo is just plain paranoia. I'm getting one of those mag holders the Garretts make. Spring loaded affair that holds 7 1911 mags. I figure with that plus the Cbob on the hip and the PM45 on the ankle I can fight my way to my rifle.

Lets see that's 56 in the mag pouch, 8+1 in the Cbob and 6 in the PM45. Yeah, that oughta get the job done.
56? I might need suspenders and heavier wheelchair springs on that side.

When I finally get the Sub 2000, I have three 33 rounds mags ready for it. So, I can have 100 rounds on tap in my truck if the need ever arose.
