Thanks for the heads up, getsome, but it isn't worth driving in Atlanta. Of course, I could have it shipped to my FFL.

They replied and said they can't squeeze any more employees into their present facility. So, they are looking for a larger place.Originally posted by melissa5 View PostJfootin, I would think they would increase production until they had a surplus in their warehouse. The sub2k seems to be a hot commodity at the moment. Hopefully, I will find one at the gun show tomorrow.Very interesting...

Now I know what they mean when they say, "it's in the bag. Melissa5, where the kitchen sink?

LOL! If it would have fit, I might have packed it. Really, I need to put on the bag and take a hike with it to see how it would feel after a mile or two.Originally posted by muggsy View PostNow I know what they mean when they say, "it's in the bag. Melissa5, where the kitchen sink?

Great pics and info Melissa. I'm now motivated to put a bug out bag together.
I have a 9mm Glock compatible KT sub2000 and my son has a KT SU16 in 5.56. Both fold, are very light (about 4lbs each), accurate, very affordable and have been flawless thru about 500 rounds each. My other son's DPMS AR15 has also been excellent so far. All 3 would come in handy in a SHTF scenario. Of course we also have other assorted weapons/calibers in "The Family". BTW I recently saw where Kel-tec is in the top 3 in sales volume among U.S. gun makers.

Well, there were no 9mm Sub2k's at the gun show today. I did see one in .40 though. I sold my Colt OACP and my Beretta Jetfire .25. No, Bawanna, I didn't sell your grips with the Colt.
Now I have cash for more race gun parts and the Sub2k when I find one. I did buy a few goodies at the show - a wicked looking knife (cheap and made in China), a tactical vest with pouches for AR mags, handgun mags, a holster, other pouches I'm not sure what to put in, a .50 ammo can, and a para-cord bracelet. The can will hold (20) 50 round boxes of 9mm. So I had a pretty good day. Hope ya'll did too.

Good to hear. I was able to fondle the .40 sub2000 and was very impressed with how light it was. Maybe I should have invested in Kel-tec instead of S&W.Originally posted by 1radman View PostGreat pics and info Melissa. I'm now motivated to put a bug out bag together.
