I'm a computer consultant, and I spend zero time fiddling around on computer forums when not working. That is, other than my own blog, which I mainly write articles in just so I can remember how to do stuff later.

I had to put other as what I do is not what I would consider to be a skilled trade like a carpenter or a plumber. Work on ships and drilling rigs but as an adviser and adjuster from the insurance industry. Have to write reports either in the office or at home. Get to work long hours in different parts of the world and also sit for long hours on airplanes, helicopters and boats to get to the job site.

No pink slip Bawanna, I don't think that Kahr Talk can get anybody else to work cheaper!
On the internet, the number of posts do not correlate to actual knowledge.
The notch is supposed to be there as well as the bulge at the front of the frame!

My dad was a rod buster. I worked with him a few times. Tough work that. Just wearing his tool belt was a workout by itself. Bending over all day tying rebar was brutal. No wonder his back always hurt.

As most can probably figure out,
I'm military. I'm a specialist in the Army, and my MOS is Operating Room Specialist. I'm attached to a Combat Support Hospital. We provide surgical services and other hospital amenities to the front lines. Individually, I'm responsible for helping the surgeon during surgery.
We also perform humanitarian missions around the world.
Our current theatres of operation include:
                      Kuwait
                      Indonesia
                      Cambodia
                      Philippines
                      Vietnam
                      and Central and South America

Most of my surgical experience is in Cardiovascular surgery. We worked on hearts, peripheral vascular disease and trauma, and cardiothoracic surgery as well. Ruptured Aortas, clogged arteries both peripheral and coronary, emergency heart failures, etc. Fun work for sure.

I have never seen a rod buster that didn't have a bad back. That is a tough way to make a living. Those guys are tough, in ever sense of the word.. I never did rods. Just about everything else, though..Mike

Mostly around the Seattle area. Don't recall the union. He went out of town a few times but not often. He did some structural in the early years and then prettty much went all rod from there. I've always hated rebar. I didn't have to play with it much as a carpenter but we did a few houses start to finish so I seen enough.

Technical manager. I manage a bunch of people that keep a network running.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
