Roadking in winter dress. Usually the tour pack and a lower covers are not on the bike. When it's cold I need to protect these old bones.

Hey JFootin - This one's for us old VW drivers!

I used to wear out a set of tires in about 5000 miles in my "Poor Man's Porche" (VW Beetle) back in the 60's, driving roads that would form a loop up into a mountain cove and back around to meet itself. The speed limit in open country was (still is) 55 m.p.h., and you could have all the fun you wanted within that speed on those curvy little roads! Just had to watch out drifting around a corner and encountering a herd of cows crossing the road from the pasture to the barn! It's gotten too crowded and over populated to do that anymore. Sigh.

Didn't know my shipping methods would be judged. I just stapled an address tag to it's ear and left it on top of the mail box, wouldn't fit inside. Hope some Iowa gangster don't steal it. It's cold outside so it should be ok.

I hate to say it, but unless that's a 55 with the 265 V8, the harley can beat it.

                    I think it's a 54 with 6 cylinder.

Don't matter none to me I'd give muggsy's eye teeth for that vette. No use for that awesome motorscooter unless he's got training wheels. I'd die for that vette though.

Not sure that 883 IRON sporster can take that 6 cylinder though, unless it is a 1200 then a different race all toghether. looks like that vette is far from anything original. certainly cool looking though

That old vette wouldn't have to be fast to make me happy. That thing is beautiful. The sporty, been there done that many moons ago. I don't believe they made that model with an 883 motor. Could be wrong though because I'm not up on the latest sporty offerings from HD

that vette is in trouble Popeye, as that is a 1200 sporster "48". The reports I keep reading is that this bike is now one of Harley's top sellers in the yought market under ages 26.. Indeed that vette is just something to look at and admire. I have a neighbor about 2 blocks form me that has a 100% original 54 vette (white) Really for me not attractive but certainaly nostalgia atr its best..
