Hi guys; dating my pre ban K9 is confusing; help appreciated; serial # ae2015, no stainless markings, looks like carbon steel; hope it was nickel coated; I paid high money for it living in Ma. and wanting one. This is a lightly used gun , 3-clips in original case and may possible be for sale in near future. thanks John

Bought my PM9094 used from a private party. Shoots great...this is a great weapon. Especially like the black diamond slide.

IC55XX, PM9, Estimated 2011 build date. (Waiting to hear from Kahr).

I'm told;

K9 S# 401XXXX manufactured January 1995

high carbon steel w/ black oxide finish.
or may be blued? not yet in hand.
My research tells me this was the first year of production. First month of first year, I hope to continue to learn new something each day.
That, and being able to remember that I am often wrong.

AD15XX - K9 - November 1995

My K9 is AD157X and the receipt in the box says it was purchased in 1997 but, (see below) MANUFACTURED NOVEMBER 1995.

UPDATE: I emailed Kahr and it took them all of 13 minutes to respond, on Christmas Eve no less. The gun was actually manufactured in November 1995, so it is a very early gun. The receipt I have does not indicate whether the gun was purchased new or used, but was purchased in April 1997 by the last owner of which I'm aware.
