  • Kahr magazines ejecting

I own a P9 and also a PM9. Love them both. Sold a CW 45 and now want to buy another for winter. Some of my magazines shoot out far and others just barely pop out. Other than replacing the mags any ideas? Also, i have heard you can modify a standard 1911 mag to fit a Kahr CW45.

    Welcome to the forums

In regards to "Some of my magazines shoot out far and others just barely pop out", you'll probably find there is a slight variance in the magazine dimensions. Some folks here remedy that by squeezing the magazines:

Other fixes include sanding and polishing:

Info on 1911 mags in the CW45/P45 can be found here:

Thanks for the quick reply. I will take a look at all of my mags. I think I will lightly sand first. I need to find new mag followers as well. When I bought my PM9 one mag was faulty. I would love to shoot my P9 when I start IDPA. Slight chip on follower. Thanks for the CW info as well. LGS has CW 45 for $ 355.

Thanks again Greg for your tip on the mags. I fixed the 4 mags I had. I then bought a 6 round and 7 round on E bay. They both had issues. Took them both apart took them out to the vise and padded with a kitchen towel. Gave them both a snug and corrected both. Even the shells pop out now without the spring, base or follower.

Yep, joined a couple of months ago. Good tips on Kahrs. I have a posting on the T Series as well. I have my eyes on a T9 here locally. Heard they are hard to find. i hate to pass it up. Already have a PM9 and P9, love them both. Thanks for the welcome.
