  • My new Kahr

Picked up a new CM9 at last weekend Gun Show. After a little haggling with a salesman, we agreed to $415 OTD. They were by far the busiest vendor there. They had a great selection of weapons and had very reasonable prices given the current climate. Well, apparently the salesman was distracted wrote "$315" on my ticket. My fiance' and I looked at each other and said, he's bound to notice that. After filling out forms, he came to collect cash. I gave him $420, he stopped and said "you gave me an extra $100", and handed one back to me. I said "you're lucky I'm honest. The gun had a $389 price tag, we agreed to $415 OTD. I'm going to trade you this $100 bill for that $20 you have. I believe I earned the additional discount!" He smiled, and we exchanged the bills. I hoping karma will smile on me!!

I haven't had a chance to test drive my new Kahr-hoping to take care of that tomorrow. I think it will be a great companion to my Sig Pro 40/357.

Congrats and welcome. Newbie here, too. My CM9 will be in my hands when the 3 day wait is over. My dealer told me I can pick it up Wednesday. Be sure to do the prep in the stickies.

All "sticky" prep done, along with numbing, blister-creating, fiance' irritating, slide racking and dry firing. Though, I think she's going to like my Kahr better than the Bodyguard 380 she carries!!

Congrats and welcome to the forum. The CM9 is about the best pocket 9mm that there is.

Like it was said earlier go to the link below and do the clean and lube thing before going to the range an you should have a really good day.

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Welcome to the forum. Kudos for your honesty. Good men are hard to find and rare. Enjoy your new Kahr.
Judging by today's left wing, looks like Senator Joe McCarthy was right after all.

                      "Range" Report

In one word....FLAWLESS!! 100 rounds-50 Blazer aluminum 124 gr. FMJ, 50 Independance (Speer stamped) 115 gr. FMJ- no FTF, Fail to fire, or FTE. Slide stop worked EVERYTIME. And most surprisingly of all, the little monster is actually FUN to shoot!! I didn't think I would be able to find a pocket pistol that would be pleasant to plink with. I was afraid that the aggressive grips would be uncomfortable after a few magazines down range, but I was, again, pleasant surprised. If I sound estatic, I am.

It's more accurate than I am: Bipartisan re-purposed target set about 8 yards away...

I had about 15 rounds of 30 year old Dove and Quail #8's laying around, so I thought my Hawk 981 needed some work...

Great report and welcome sealion. Congrats on your new CM9.

They really are a great and fun gun to shoot. For the people that don't think so, I really don't see what more they could expect from a tiny little 9mm. They are fantastic.
