  • New guy here

Hey, just doing my duty as the new guy to stop in here and say hi! So, Hi.

I just recently purchased my first Kahr, a CW40, and am excited to get out and give it a good run through. Got it home, cleaned it, lubed it, rubbed it, carressed it, and put it to bed for the night. Anyway, I'll be in/out of the CW threads mostly, since, well, that's the model I have. Mostly, I'm a lurker, but post when I feel I have something to contribute, or have a question. Have one in there already, so go check it out.......

Hope to learn some good stuff here, and hope to have a good relationship with my new Kahr!

Traildigger, welcome. In case Wyntrout is not logged in tonight, I'll jump in here. Before you hit the range we strongly urge you to look at/read wyntrout's newbie post and links (8th sticky in the New Member Area forum). Your new Kahr needs a thorough cleaning and proper lube before firing. Disassemble and clean your magazine(s) also. It's recommended to just shoot FMJ during the break in period (usually 200 rounds).

Welcome traildigger, also the owners booklet that came with the gun is your friend, (if you can see the tiny print) be sure to read it as it will help you get to know the finer points of your gun.
Never look in the rear view mirror to see the past, and never look too far up the road to the future,, just watch where you're going.
