  • New CM9 owner from Virginia

Hello from Virginia. I just bought a new Kahr CM9. Love the gun. I added a Crimson Trace Laser Guard and red fiber optic sights. I love the fact that I can hide this gun anywhere, plus it shoots great. Had it for 5 days now and have 250 rounds through it with no problems.
Any info on the best ammo for this gun would be appreciated.

Welcome..............just purchased a MK9 myself............put 200 rds. thru......150 rds. of Fiocchi 115 gr., and 50 rds. of Blazer 115..........had no problems with the Fiocchi at all........3 FTE's with Blazer...I think that the Blazer's are a little light, and it could have been me limping a bit. I was suprised at how nice that trigger is for a DAO firearm, and very accurate for me.

The best holster I have found for forget-it-is-there comfort 24/7 with my CM9 is the PJ IWB Holster. There are so, so many members here that will concur. Paul is a great guy and a real gun lover, and he performs magic with kydex - making the holster incredibly comfortable to where you can't tell it is there whether sitting, standing or moving about. It is like the mass of the gun disappears, becoming one with your body. I carry mine with a 15° cant just behind my hip - the sweet spot. I prefer the one linked above with the over the belt clip. I normally wear the above under a loose shirt.
      Very interesting...

Welcome, Harry. I have a CM9 with CT Laser also. I've had it about three weeks, and although I've only put about 200 rounds through it, so far it will take pretty much anything ... Blazer, Sellier, Federal, reloads, etc. I wouldn't worry about what to fire, just enjoy shooting whenever you get the chance.

Welcome. I just recommend brass fmj for your break in. I believe the manual tells you the same. Blazer brass, pmc, fiocchi, s&b, all run great in my mk9. I just grab the cheapest BRASS I can find. 115 gr is fine for the range. Good luck and enjoy.
