  • second time's the charm?

my first post has gone awol... it said: thanks for all the advice, kahr gurus! i am now the proud owner of a cm9 that runs like a swiss watch. accurate, reliable, perfect. it wasn't that way first time out (nosedive jams in abundance). i followed the advice and performed the various modifications put forth by you experts, and it works! thanks again.

For some reason your coming thru as a spam post. I sent a message to last time to Admin but apparently you got deleted somehow. You didn't get banned so that's a good sign. I'll send another note now and try to figure out what's going on.

Don't give up, we'll sort it out.

Should be ok now kahrl. Post count meter is working and the spam thing went away. Johnh showed me how to fix it.

cool, and yes, i do love my cm9. it's amazingly accurate for a pocket pistol. i modified the follower, and i polished the feed ramp and chamber entry, and it's absolutely perfect. it's an idiosyncratic little thing that just needed some attention and familiarization. i'm looking forward to putting a few tens of thousands of rounds through it...

            Congratulations!!!
Kahr's are worth trusting your life too! You just have to learn how to run them.
After the first 100 rounds I haven't had a single issue.
            Welcome aboard.

Welcome kahrl. I am one of the lucky ones. Nearing 1000 rounds and not one hitch. (1 FTE from limp wristing - not the guns fault). I own quite a few guns but for some reason my CM9 is the one I always reach for. You are gonna love it!

Welcome to the forum, kahrl! There is a wealth of valuable information in the New Member Area and the Kahr-Tech sections of the forum.

And welcome to the CM9 Owners Club! Our official symbol is the wide grin smily because we are so happy with our purchase that we can't wipe the smiles off our faces!

The best holster I have found for forget-it-is-there comfort 24/7 with my CM9 is the PJ IWB Holster. There are so, so many members here that will concur. Paul is a great guy and a real gun lover, and he performs magic with kydex - making the holster incredibly comfortable to where you can't tell it is there whether sitting, standing or moving about. It is like the mass of the gun disappears, becoming one with your body. I carry mine with a 15° cant just behind my hip - the sweet spot. I prefer the one linked above with the over the belt clip. I normally wear the above under a loose shirt.
                Very interesting...

@JFootin, I just purchased a magazine carrier from PJH per your recommendation. I already have a holster from Bucks for my PM 45 and it's very much like the Crossbreed models and like it very much. The PJH products all looked very interesting and will keep your rec on that in mind as well. His prices are very, very fair!
