    Just joined the Kahr club

    Great site you have here! I have done a lot of research on small single stack 9mm and came to the conclusion that Kahr is the best choice for me. I'm a revolver guy and this is my first auto-loader (not counting my rim fire PPK).

    The CM9 is a little smaller than my S&W model 60 that is my current EDC. I found a local small shop selling a new CM9 for $379 so I jumped on it. I also bought two extra 6rd mags and a Foxx IWB hybrid holster to try out. Took it apart last night and went though the prep thread posted by Jacko (great writeup btw) and followed the lube diagram.

    Looking forward to a range trip to break her in (if I can find any ammo).

      I agree, once I get through the break in process the Kahr will be my primary EDC. I'll still carry the S&W for certain situations (I think it prints less in my pocket). The CM9 fits in my Nemesis N38 pocket holster pretty well though.

              Lot's of good info here Gearhead and welcome. If any problems and these guys can't get you going then it's up to Kahr and both have good track records for fixing problems.

                          Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I had a chance to fire a clip through the CM9 while setting up some tree stands. Had one FTF (I expect a few while breaking in) and hit the tin can several times. Looking forward to going to the range soon.
