Brand new K40 Elite owner. Should I polish the trigger bar or leave it alone?

It wouldn't hurt anything, but it isn't necessary. Unless you are unhappy with the trigger pull I'd leave it alone.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

I would leave the trigger bar alone.
After you shoot it some to verify function you can polish some parts if you like. I have polished the breech face, extractor, feed ramp, and all around the entrance of the chamber of mine. Oh, polished the striker also. Basically all metal to metal contact and anywhere metal meets brass. My CW45 feeds smooth as silk and CM9 is better that is was. The CM9 is not quite as smooth as the CW45. I don't have a K series but if things need some polishing go for it after you know it works right.The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
