  • New Kahr owner, life long firearms enthusiast

Greetings and best regards from Portland, OR! I am new to this forum and new to Kahr Arms as well, having only fired one (CW9) but I found that I love the trigger pull and ergonomics of the firearms. That being said, I am a steel frame guy. My latest carry pieces were (in order) Tisas 1911 5", Ruger SP101 3", Smith & Wesson 3913. I am going to pick up my brand new Kahr T9 today after work and I cannot express how excited I am to get it. I have read all of the posts and reviews I could find online, and after fondling a Kahr K9 at the last gun show here in Portland I was sold. I LOVE how the Kahr's feel in the hand, and as nice as the K9 is, I prefer a full size grip and longer barrel. as I said before, I have carried full size, heavy guns for a while now and it never bothers me. I like the weight of them actually, a good belt and holster make all the difference in the world. I was slightly put off by the lack of grips and accessories but it seems a shame to cover or replace those beautiful wood grips anyway. I will be doing a full write up, starting tonight (probably won't be posted tonight) once I get a picture log going and continuing as long as I own the gun. I was inspired by jocko's tag line about "over 32k rounds through his PM9" and I want to document my experiences with this rare and beautiful chunk of steel. Take care all, I look forward to getting to know you all and I want to thank you all for the knowledge I have acquired here already.

I am officially envious! T9s are masterpieces and on my wish list for guns to buy in more bountiful times.

I'll be looking forward to your review.

Welcome to the Kahr Club. "You can't have just one." Looking forward to your write-up on the T9. The T Series sub-forum needs a bump anyways.

I was a die hard steel frame guy until I started carrying my CM9. Now, not so much. There's a lot to be said for a steel frame gun, but damn things are heavy. Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride in your new Kahr.
