  • CW380 laser sight

Unfortunately my eyes are such that either the sights are blurry or the target is blurry. Does anyone other than Crimson Trace make a laser sight custom fit to the CW380? I would prefer a green laser as they show up better in bright light conditions and Crimson Trace seems to only make the red.

Don't think anyone makes a green yet for the Kahr P380/CW380. I've been on the lookout.
I've got the same vision issue. Fortunately it's less pronounced in bright daylight so I practice with the sights at outdoor ranges where it's hard to locate the laser dot, and use the CT laser at indoor ranges.
    Rest in peace Muggsy

Might want to investigate further, Cheesehead. Green lasers are no good in cold weather. Last I checked Wisconsin ain't Florida.

Thanks for the info Hawkeye. It might stay warm enough in my pocket for CC use. I don't think it much matters though as red seems to be the only color available.

I don't know why crimson trace won't go green for the p380, I'd get one as red is absolutely useless in daylight.

Its so bad everyone laughs cause I head to the range at sunset to sight in my laser.

I guess I'll just have to get a 9mm to. Not a bad plan.

You are no different from anyone else. No human can focus at three different distances at the same time. You are supposed to focus on the front sight and the rear sight and target will be a soft blur. Most serious social engagements occur at arms length. You don't need a laser sight. You need to practice shooting from seven yards (21 feet) or closer and concentrate on center mass hits rather than small groups. Spend you money on ammunition and range time.

I agree with range time and short distances. For me it has to be point and shoot without glasses. I spend too much time trying to find the sights because of the blur. I could probably change the sights to something I could see better. For now, point and shoot is the way I am going. Thanks for the advise. There is never anything wrong with adding another gun though.
