my first carry piece when I owned a dancehall back in the '80's

ran across a nice one for not much money, so I had to snag it

    built like a tank

    very well balanced

    smooth action and accurate

.357 barks like a big dog

sweet! I love those guns... great shooters.

Look into some Badger grips... to me, those were the best for the smaller 357 Rugers

LOVE Jim Badger grips, but I probably won't buy any for the SS.

Carried them on my Colt dicks.

My Dad has a Speed Six I'm likely to get some day.
        Not too soon I hope.

        I'm a S&W guy with four pre-lock SS guns.
But the Speed Six, GP100 and SP101 guns hard not to appreciate.

My personal favorite 357 magnum revolver is my S&W M65-3 3" heavy barrel.
Her balance, trigger and accuracy is nothing short of outstanding.

BTW where are the Speed Six pics???

A very fine gun. Many years ago, I had a friend with a Speed Six. I shot his gun better than any of mine. I went to LGS to buy a Speed Six. They had none so I bought a SW M13 - 3" instead. Love the M13 but I still want a Speed Six!

I had a Service-Six, 4" barrel back about 30 years ago. Great revolvers.

                doc540,
That's a very nice Speed Six you have there!
I'd like to pick up a stainless one myself someday, but I'm still pretty pleased with my blued version:

                Regards,
                Greg

Looks like you abuse it like all your other guns too. (Perfect) Blasphemy!. Show a little love man!

You had some Stag for that too didn't ya or was that a GP100? I give up, I can't remember all your cool stuff.

Had two Speed Six Rugers back in the 80's. Sold them both. For the life of me I can't at this point remember why I did that. Good working revolvers.
