  • Buzzy is not a 1911 virgin anymore

So buzzy is not a virgin any more to 1911's ,went to range today and had to blow the dust on my 1911 told buzzy he had to try this and I think he may have fell in love with the 1911. Here is his first target at 7 yards not bad he almost did the same group left handed and good groups at 15 yards. Now buzzy has been a hunter all his life and shot rifles he did not get into handguns till I turned him on to them now I do believe he is a crazy man on the hand gun side, (SO DOES THIS MAKE ME A BAD PERSON ?)he told me he never had so much fun shooting in his life, just goes to show what I did to him. On the same note he let me shoot his pm45 and I must say I was very impressed with it, I thought it was going to have a lot more recoil to it. Over all I must say I was impressed by that little 45, thumbs up on pm45

After I shot my first 1911 it was at most 3 weeks before I had one of my very own.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I cut my teeth on the slide of a 1911.

I have a cm9, cw45, glock19, glock36, ruger sr22, and a remington 1911. The only thing more accurate than the 1911 is the ruger, and that one is not a serious self defense weapon. I love shooting the 1911. Makes me feel like I'm actually a good shot.
I've lost my memory, and I can't remember where I put it.

Yep. a 1911 type trigger is sweet.

Wouldn't want to carry one in my pocket though.

Why not? It has 2 active safeties...a good holster would make that pretty secure, IMHO.
