    Buy the Snubbie

    I passed on a LNIB SP101 for $300.
I'm still kicking myself over that.
    Had just bought a S&W 65-3 M&P 3" Heavy Barrel.
And already owned a S&W 640-1 Centennial snubbie.
So I just couldn't justify the buy.

Everybody needs at least one 357 snubbie.
IMHO Ruger SP101 and S&W 640 are best of breed.

Get a trigger job for sure.
I've got a XS Big Dot on the nose of both of my snubbies too.
It's a sweet NS option for a pocket pistol.

I'm real partial to my every day 3" SP101 in .357, with Bawanna panels

Love mine too. It's been my center console gun for road trips for 20 years.

If ya run out of boolets, just hit the BG over the head with it.

I was going to post a pic of mine with the grip panels Bawanna made for me a couple of years ago, but I still can't get my "free" photobucket account to cooperate since their last big change ......

so, I'll post the last pic I have remaining on the photobucket site which is my personal opinion of photobucket

                I HATE PHOTOBUCKET

actually, this is a sculpture that was made by my trusty Dobie, Guinness, but it reminds me of the current status of algoresinternetsuperhighway

On that note I started 4 sets of SP101 grip panels tonight. Got them cut out.

A little shaping and fine tuning and I'll offer em up.

I had some frustrating issues with photobucket too when they messed everything up. I'm back up now once I figured it out.
I don't really know what I did to figure it out but I hope you get it sorted out son.

With that Dobie artist you'll need it.

If you know the trick to making p-bucket work, I would sure like to know what it is. For the last 3 months or so I can't seem to upload a picture.

What are you getting hung up. I sure ain't no expert on this stuff.

It's the same only different ways of doing stuff.

                      Lets figure it out.

I log on to p-bucket, hit the upload button, navigate to my "re-sized" pictures and hit "open", then wait for 15-20 minutes while the little buzz saw runs around and around fooling me into thinking it's really going to upload the pic

.... then I get pi$$ed off and shut it down

should I wait for 30 minutes?

in one enough? ..... is two too many?

hhhmmmm..... she never asks for another cup of my coffee ....

Something else is preventing you from uploading a photo. I have zero issues and it takes the same amount of time as always. Firewall? Updated Anti-Virus Software? I sure doesn't sound like Photobucket.

                            Fifteen handguns and two hands.
                            I already had four revolvers.
                            One of which I bought a week before (S&W 65-3 3").
A deal is only a deal when you need the weapon.

                            Still, the price was ridiculous.
                            After sleeping on it.
I went back the next day to buy it anyway.
And it was gone - LOL!

                            Later I bought a NIB HK P2000 357 Sig LEM for $649.
Knowing that was a great deal also.
I ended up buying a second identical twin P2000 357 for the same price.

You know I was just jerking your chain. I've run across a few "deals" that I really just wasn't interested in to later find out I could have made a couple hundred bucks moving it or trading for something I was interested in. It seems might rare to run across a great deal when you really are looking for a particular model (of anything)

You ask a horrible question sir..

                                I love an SP101.

But I dunno that I would trade that RMR for one.. heck I just got myself a Burris Fast Fire III I am thinking of mounting on one of them SP101s.

Decisions decisions.. Oh should you purchase that SP101 for sure get the Wolff spring kit for it and IF you decide you do not like that bobbed hammer holla at me I will swap a normal hammer for that bobbed one.
