The announced these earlier this year at Shot. Haven't seen one in the wild yet, but would love to. If I were in the market for a .45 right now, this and a CZ 97 BD would be on the short list. Just not a 1911 guy, just don't care for cocked and locked.

My preference is CZ97BD. Although Sigs are great too. I just think you get a lot for your $$$ with CZ.

I was looking at those but there were not any available local to see. Ended up getting this one last week. 15+1. Will be taking it out next week. Cant wait

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Sorry about that. If it helps the future sale of my XDs is going to partially fund my latest purchase (that's what I'm telling the wife anyway )

I'm still loving my 12+1 HK USP Tactical 45.
Was actually shooting the USP Tac, twin P2000 357s and my little SK 357 this am.
But a Sig 10+1 45 does look appealing.

Agreed! But, part of that 'a lot for your $$$' with CZ is weight. I love my P-01, but the thing that has prevented me from grabbing up a SP-01 Tactical or a 97 BD, is the 40+ oz weight. I might well snatch up a Phantom sometime, but I think in the .45 realm, I might actually lean toward the 32oz Sig in this case. Both great guns I would imagine, but weight is frequently my deciding factor as most everything I own is a carry piece in some fashion. Even a day of IDPA/USPSA would get tiresome lugging a full weight CZ around.

Stop freakin' posting pictures of HK guns Barth! There is a used USP 9 compact and full size here at one of my LGSs ... and if you keep it up, it's gonna cost me a large chunk of change!

Don't take this wrong, Sig is a great manufacturer of guns, but the one thing that I have never cared for in their designs are all of the sharp corners. The FN and Kahr pistols are much more rounded and more comfortable to carry. Of course, this is just one man's opinion, but what a man.
