Wifes new double stack kahr !!

Not really, but It could be if kahr got off there but . Instead my wife picked up a small double stack pistol , Taurus PT111 G2. Slide is .96 wide , grip is 1.1 wide , 21oz with 12round empty mag installed. Its capable of using a 24/7 fist gen 17 round mag or a P226 18 or 20 rounder as a backup. Trigger as a 2lb take up with an additional very short 4lb to fire. Not a sa but not like other strikers triggers. Nice 6lb trigger pull with very short reset plus double strike capacity. Also has a safety that works very nicely for those that want it. Fits a hand well with sand paper type areas on all 4 parts of the grip and it work well. My wife fired a mag full behind the garage and was very pleaed with it far better to her than her M&P9c . Now we have to get to the range to proof it tomorrow.

I still predict that kahr will indeed introduce a double stack and in 9mm first. It will happen. They have run out of redefining the wheel with their single stacks. to me just makes sense to bring about a DS. Not sure what model but it will be polymer u can bet on that and maybe in the P9 series, as a DS even in a cm or pM SIZE MIGHT BE A TAD TO MUCH FOR POCKET CARRY. Mark this on ur calendar. Ol jocko has spoken, and I said that about ayear ago. It will happen. Rome was not built in a day, and kahr is selling everything they can make...Just sayin

I personally hope they don't waste a single minute pondering double stack. They have a perfect niche market. Focus on what they have, perfect it even more. Don't mess with success.
If they want to play double stack do it in the Magnum Research area or something
Course I shoot a 45, no need for a lot of bullets.

I was considering it, but couldn't find one in stock anywhere to get my hands on it.

I had a PT111. It cracked the sear, sent it in through a gunsmith. Two months later it was back. The gunsmith said it had a silent recall on it.

A couple of years later the trigger bar broke and I returned it again. After that, the trigger had to be pulled off-center to get it to fire. I traded it on my kahr.

Let's hope yours is better.

Didn't figure I could get crap from some kahr guys !! After all its not like every ones so damd happy with every kahr thats bought?? Grow the hell up. Don't we hear enough crap on a daily base's from kahr bashers without becoming a brand basher too. But it does figure there we would have a couple brand bashing butt wipes here too.


Acasper708 Sports South had a 100 in stock 3 days ago so maybe a lgs you use will get one in to handle.


After running 200 rounds thru it yesterday I have no issues with it except I could shoot it a little better. 10 yard groups for 200 rounds were between 3 and 4" but with a few fliers. Other wise it seems to be a very functionally a very good feeling pistol to shoot. racks easy . Thin all around for a double stack . Very nice trigger even with a 2 stage type first pull , 2lb take up & a short 4lb more to fire. Very short reset and nice 6lb short pull for following rounds. It has a extenal safety that works easily for those that want one and a rail?? Gun shop prices run around 340-350 with buds running a special of $300 plus or minus depending on blue or matt SS.


Need to get me my and wife to the range for another 200 trouble free rounds before she decide about CC it. So far so great.
