Have you looked at the Hogue Grips website? My wife got a set of walnut grips from them for her Sig P228. I got a set of ivory (polymer) grips for my Colt SA clone. If they don't stock what you want, they may make one for you.

While I like the looks of ivory (polymer) grips, be aware that they are still prone to scratches, dings, and are brittle. If dropped, they may even break. If you're planning to carry, wood, IMO, would be a more durable choice over ivory (polymer). My SIG P220 still wears it's factory grips because it is a carry gun. YMMV

Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans Whorehouse would carry pearl handled revolvers. Ivory (Imitation Only)

Have you given any thought to some of the exotic wood grips? The grain and colors can be really nice. The Hogue site should have some pictures of what's available. My wife's P228 has smooth walnut grips which she likes a lot.

William Boyd was from Cambridge, Ohio and Tulsa....not New Orleans.

I gave thought to it, then I let it go..........but seriously, If I could find a set that were thin, it would be a possibility...................most of the wood grips are too thick for my liking.
