Had one and it did what it was supposed to do. It went bang every time I pulled the trigger. Accuracy was fair at close range. Bought a P380 for it's sights, trigger and build quality and never looked back.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

I actually have a Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 I got in return on a repair from a Taurus Revolver. Surprisingly good pistol.... I was impressed with it.... The newer crop of "cheaper" pistols is a lot of bang for the buck!Originally posted by Longitude Zero View PostGive the SCY CPX-2 a try. Don't have a P3AT, but I've a P32 that I carry frequently. I've put thousands of rounds through it over the last seven years and it's never missed a beat. My only complaint was that it required some "Kentucky windage" for smaller targets. Awhile back, I picked up a complete top end for it on eBay and was delighted to find that it shoots just about point of aim with that combo installed (reliability has been the same through about 400 roundsOriginally posted by marcinstl View Postto owning and carrying a Kel-tec P3at?
).

If I could combine features from three of my "mouse" guns, I'd go with the P32 adding the sights from my LCP and it's exterior slide stop (keeping the P32's hold open when empty feature). Plus I like how the exterior machining/finish is done on the LCP's slide. I'd also want the P380's trigger, metal mag latch, and stainless steel for the slide.

Greg has a P32!? Waah!? the P32 weighs in at 6.6 oz., add 2 oz. for the 10 round mag and 2.5oz for 10+1 rounds , totals about 11 oz. I looked at Ballistics 101 and the average .32 fmj is a 71gr., going about 900fps, for 130 ft/lbs. Buffalo Bore has some 75gr. +P that goes 1150fps, for 220 ft/lbs. (that's getting up there with .38spl.) at 11 oz., there's just no excuse for not having a gun on you at all times.
compare the sights on the P32 to the Seecamp or for that matter the Colt New Agent-- point and shoot.
if ya just got to have a .45, the New Agent(7+1) is 31.5oz. and the trusty CM45(5+1) is 24oz. (loaded weights).
yep, I need me a tiny mousegun.

I went to the range this morning and shot an LCP, not bad, nice little gun, small but I was in the middle of the target. a couple of years ago I don't think it would have worked so good. a lot of practice with the Kahr trigger has made shooting DA pistols much easier, even on a gun where the trigger isn't as good as a Kahr. for me the DA trigger took some work. a couple of years ago I tried a S&W DAO .38spl Airweight and thought it was horrible, thought I needed a snubbie with a hammer so I could go SA and be accurate. don't fall into that trap, learn the DA trigger.

1st generation Kel-Tec .32! Now carried as back up- back up in my car. It replaced my Beretta .25 acp which had previously replaced my Beretta .22 which would not cylce more than three rounds without a jam. Fun gun to shoot , no muzzle flip and 9 shots as as fast as I pull the trigger. My very first carry, for 20 years, was my Walther PP. Today Kahr CM9 pocket edc.

I got one of those from my son, but it had the hard chrome slide. I gave it to Vickie because she had problems racking my PM9. I never shot it and I doubt that she has either. I guess that gun is about as light as they come at 6.6 ozs. My cell phone weighs almost that much.Originally posted by gb6491 View PostDon't have a P3AT, but I've a P32 that I carry frequently. What's the deal with that slide/frame contour? That diagonal bump from the trigger guard half way up the slide - the slide contour doesn't line up with the frame contour. They copied the Ruger P85, which has the exact same misaligned bump, and it's always bothered the hell outta me. I suspect they were copying the Browning Hi Power with its vertical contour, but the Browning lines up better. Then Kel Tec added the Sig Sauer slide "step" contour. Ok, rant over.

You rant about the strangest things, John. I guess that KelTec copied Ruger and Browning, because they wanted their product to look like a gun.Never trust anyone who doesn't trust you to own a gun.

Damn right! Aesthetics matter to me!Originally posted by muggsy View PostYou rant about the strangest things, John. I guess that KelTec copied Ruger and Browning, because they wanted their product to look like a gun.
Apparently, originality doesn't matter to a lot of gun designers. Ruger didn't figure that out with the P- series until the P93. Kahr has an aesthetic all its own, which is one thing I love about them. They're not copying anybody.
