Thanks for all the ideas, but after two weeks I have eliminated the need for crutches and cane. Saw the doc yesterday and am cleared for driving and only light restrictions on my job as RSO and instructor.

Unfortunately, one of those restrictions is not bending over far enough to pick up my spent brass. Time to holster up the revolvers when I practice for another couple of months.

      I have forgotten what a loaded S&W 625JM weighs.

Your the RSO Instructor, can't you just order the mere mortals to pickup your brass for ya.

Hell I'd pick it up for ya.

Go by home depot and get one of those long grab thingys so you dont have go bend over to pick up the brass then shoot whatever you want.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Actually, we have one of these and it works great. In all seriousness, I have no problem getting all the brass I want. I just need an excuse to give the wheelguns a bit of exercise.
