  • A Pony Followed Me Home

Went to one of the local indoor ranges this evening with my son to put a few rounds through my PM9 and his K9. It was absolutely packed with a waiting list, so we decided to put it off until tomorrow evening. Thought we'd peruse the showcase as long as we were there. He wandered toward the new 1911's while I opted for the pre-owned area. Right in the middle I spied something that made me do a double take. A blue steel Colt Detective Special - Fourth Issue. Research of the serial number found it was manufactured in 1973. Close inspection revealed flawless condition. $499 later, I walked out with it.

      Pics, pics.....
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

You were definitely in the right place at the right time.....................can't even see a turn mark......did the owner actually know what he had? Surprised that someone didn't snatch that thing up
