  • Bought another wheelgun

Big honkin' Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum.
I'm thinking it'll be a good trail gun. It'll probably go to my middle son who, along with his two little boys are campers & hikers when they travel to visit friends out west.

      NICE!
I've a stainless, Bisley Vaquero with the same length tube in 44. It's a sweet shooting six gun and I'd bet that Super Blackhawk will be as well.

Ruger puts nice wood on their guns.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

No, but my brother's grandson-in-law is an avid reloader and does it just for fun.

But I don't shoot a whole lot these days.

You're gonna have to learn to "spin".

No trick to that thar spinning, just blow up 3 or 4 balloon real quick like and the spinning just happen by itself, kind of natural like.

Best if nobody's around for a mile or two when you spinning. Safety first and all that don't cha know.

The more I look at that nice Super Blackhawk, the more I think that is the gun that Elmer would have designed, and wanted.

Over the standard SBH, fluted cylinder, round "standard" gripframe.

All ya need now is the gripframe off a New Vaquero ... just sayin... or a Bisley. Never cozied up to the XR3-RED Ruger gripframe, but the older Colt sized one, or the Biz are both great.

I'm a fan of the Biz myself. I prefer the looks of a standard plow handle but the Bisley shoots better = even makes this short barrel Lipseys an easy shooter.

a couple of outings with the .44 and you'll be dreaming about a couple more outings ... then a couple more.... then soon you'll realize for the cost of three or so hundred rounds of store bought .44 mag you could be reloading for less than half the price .... I can assure you ... it's addictive

Muy beuna pistola compadre!!! Like the barrel lenght on it. Got offered one at the last gunshow a week ago, stainless Bisley with a scope for 7 bills. Didn't want to give that much for a used one. offered 5. He passed it.

Had another guy offer a blue 4 5/8" with a fluted cylinder in .44 mag. He wanted 5. I offered 3 for that one. He passed it.

Really want a short stainless one. But, used gun buyers can't be picky.
