Ditto for me. I can't make up my mind which one I want.

Actually I have a CZ 22 rifle that I love, need one of their pistols. OK, Ok, want one of their pistols.

I like to use ones I don't have ankle holsters for or don't carry regular so they don't feel neglected or left out and develop one of them phobias and end up curled up on the kitchen floor in a fatal position leaking gun oil all over the floor and such.

Sadly Hurry Cane Matthew blew these away, figured I was safe here in Washington when they told us to evacuate, I was like where we gonna go ya know. But they was right, gone..????

ya know, a mare's leg in 45colt would make a mighty fine bedside companion now that you mention it.

I sure like the feel of it handling. It's a bit weird to shoot. Can't really hold it right like a handgun and no buttstock to shoot it like a rifle.

I think it would be sweet as an SBR. Put a short but useable buttstock on it and you'd really have something.

It shoot pretty good certainly at home defense range. Hey it worked for Steve in Dead or Alive, should work for me.

I have a 92 clone in 45 Colt. One of my favorites for sure.

In real life I have a Para Ordnance P14-45 LDA in the night stand. 14 rounds or 45 and it's a sweet shooter.
I better go check and make sure it's still there, what with the storm and all. Looter don't cha know?

When I undress, I remove my EDC 1911 and place it in the night stand drawer, it then becomes my night stand gun. I'm an old dog and don't care for railed pistols, so no lights for me. Keep a good flash light in the bottom of the night stand. I know 8 rounds is not enough for some folks, but it's only got to last until I reach something more substantial. Besides, I shoot that pistol a bunch, and pretty good too, gotta be something said for familiarity with what's in your hand.

I have several high capacity polymer pistols I could use as night stand guns, actually used that as an excuse to buy at least one of them. But... I just never got in the habit of taking one out of the safe every night, and then putting it back every morning. Using my 1911 is just easier, and I always have it ready to go, plus I keep 4-5 extra loaded mags in the drawer.

My bedside self defense kit is a Xdm 5.2 45, 13 + 1,a spare mag and a cell phone with 911 punched in.
                          My hubby has a 930 Mossberg and a 4.0 STI 45.
I don't have my shot gun because of the field of fire and phone duty.
We also have an inexpensive alarm system and a motion triggered flood lights that come on if anyone tries to head down the hallway to our bedroom. We love a well-lite target. We fooled around with the light location in order to find the perfect location where the BG would be blinded and we would be next to impossible to see in the bedroom. As it turns out, instead of mounting the light we have it part way down the hall on a 3 rung step stool. It's the best location and the stool will slow down their progress down our hall.
