I've been wanting a 3" Kimber K6S for a while. I had the dough (not really, but I'll make it back) and prices were in the low 700s, so I went for it.

I've been on the fence about it's looks, with that squared off design, but when you see it in person it's much sexier than in pictures. The texture is soft and snag-free. The trigger is very similar to a Kahr, just heavier. Not sure I want to shoot it and get it all dirty.

It's only a skosh larger than a J-frame and feels lighter than a K-frame. I think I'm gonna like it.

Low 700's is a good price. I haven't seen one yet to check out. Still wish it had a hammer..........................................

Congrats. I always have thought 3" is the minimum for a .357 magnum load. My favorite is 586-No Dash 4" that has a sweet action, but it's hard to conceal it well.

I long ago set that bar at 2.5" in deference to my/the classic P&R, Smith Model 19. Otherwise, I with you agree.
