What would you expect from an FBI that had to remove the words Jihad, Islamic, Terrorist from their training manuals?
Truely working hard to match their Acronym F amous B ut I ncompetent!

If you are in the military, you have given up much of the 1st Amendment. Anyone who has served knows this.

Aside from that, there is no where near enough information to even base an educated opinion on what happened/may have happened/or just a ratings grab? Never heard of the radio host, what proof is there that this was the guys mom, let alone any credible media source that this happened?

All I heard is what appears to be a radio interview with a few pictures and a screen shot of a possible persons Facebook page (never been on Facebook so I couldn't tell you what one looks like).

Not saying any of this is made up, just that there is no information one way or the other.

It's the internet, so make of it what you will. More info is needed. BTW, he's no longer on active duty so has rights as a civilian.

I have friends who were active but are now Inactive Reserve and were told to be VERY CAREFUL of social media posting as they could still be pulled back to active and prosecuted under the UCMJ, one was a lawyer for JAG. They also said that until full rretirement or complete seperation the UCMJ could still be used to punish inappropriate behavior.

There is way to little info in the link to really know for sure.
