It's 3-dimensional, at least. Two points define a line, and three a plane... four lets you get out of that plane, which could beg the question about "3-D"... hmmm... plane geometry... pitch, yaw, and roll.

I took the quiz and scored 90-90. I'm on the line about mandatory military service for all CITIZENS. I think that it should be a requirement for holding political office... AND VOTING, and Honorable military service should be required for FULL Citizenship... not a freebee that can be squandered or bartered away as our rights are being diminished today.

I was just checking to find Jfootin's last post... and this was it. I thought the quiz was interesting.

I think if we could start from scratch with a new nation, that would be a good idea. You shouldn't be put in a position to uphold and defend the constitution with your words and deeds until you've put your life on the line for it.

        Actually:
        A point has no dimensions.
A line has one dimension - you can move to the left or right on a line.
A plane has two dimensions - you can move left or right and you can move up or down but you cannot leave the surface of the plane.
A box has three dimensions - you can move to the left or right and you can move up or down and you can move front to back.

If a point has no dimensions and a line is a series of points then how can a line have a dimension? I'm getting confused here. Be that as it may, this may come as a shock to some of you, but almost no bills are read by the people voting on them. The people who vote on them hire lackeys to read and advise them on the bills. If they did read every bill they wouldn't have the time to vote on them and to campaign fund raise for the next election. The also don't read your letters. Lackeys read them and count the number of pro and anti positions. A hand written letter counts as one vote. A petition with 25 signatures counts as one vote. Letters carry more weight because any a-hole will sign a petition if it's placed before them.

Bills should be limited to a size that is readable.

Look at the size difference between Ovomit Care and the Constitution…Duh

I agree, write your reps……..mine are sick of all the letters I send.
First I send an email and then I send a hand written letter, which is basically the same. It may be silly but, I hope to get someone to read what I have to say.

Why should the political class... our "betters", have to read the bills they pass? They usually get to exempt themselves from any laws they don't like... and they still get re-elected!

A "point" is just a location in space.
A "line segment" is created by connecting two points. It has length, but no width or height.
A "line" is created by connecting an infinite number of "line segments" together, however every line segment must have two points in common with the first line segment. That makes the line straight. A "line" then has no width or height, but is infinitely long.

                "Dimension" has two meanings.
#1 An object can move left/right or up/down or toward/away. Three dimensions.
                #2 A measurement.
Both meanings have been used in this thread, so .......

Wait, I think I confused myself!

I got a degree in it 42 years ago and have tried to get most of it out of my head... seemingly. It's neat and comes in handy, but now I have scientific calculator capability... on my cell phone, even. Over 40 years ago, the HP desk calculator was as big as an IBM Selectric typewriter... if anyone remembers those! My first wife could type faster than the little ball print head.

I was a math major for one semester, about 31 years ago. It's amazing how much recall I can muster when my 7th grade daughter needs her math homework checked. Takes a while to dust off the cobwebs, but once I get it going, it's like riding a bike.
