Couple of years ago I bought a S&W sigma 9ve. Crappiest gun ever in my opinion. And then I joined their forum. I didn't last long. I posted one negative thing about this loser and chief we have and was emailed a warning that I was put on "probation". I immediately emailed back to pull me from their forum and said person could shove where the sun doesn't shine. I've heard nothing from them and haven't been back since. I sold that crappy s&w and swore I'd never buy another gun from them. I folded when I bought the 15-22, but it was a moment of weakness, I love that gun hehe. Any way, I got an email from them, decrying nobama and how we needed to stop him, together. I emailed back and once again told them to shove it. Years ago, when I was a member, I already knew, if they are so stupid that they are only figuring it out now, I want no part of their forum.

I got probation at a 1911 forum and never look at that sight for anything as there are plenty of others. Big egos will ruin a forum in no time...My New Web Store!

If I had to guess I would say a lot of that is the moderators not wanting to "offend" anyone because they think it will keep more visitors coming to their site since the number of hits determines revenue. My opinion though is that open respectful free discussion will draw more people on a regular basis than restriction does. PLUS it allows the opportunity for those of us that only participate on one forum to know if something related to the RKBA and our country's freedoms is coming down the road at us.
The moderators here do a good job of allowing information and opinion to flow, and also shutting down a thread if it becomes overly heated.
Kahrtalk is #1

Thank you for the compliment! I agree that a lot of forums try too hard to take a middle ground where there simply isn't one. Support for our freedoms is non-negotiable. When politicians take a stand against that, it is not just a right but a duty to oppose them. Gun owners should understand that better than anyone, given the long history of politicians abusing our rights.Chief Administrator and CEO

They have way too many rules over at the S&W forum for me, NO Politics and no links to any copyrighted materal at all...I'm ok with that but the PEOPLE over there make for a rough crowd...I dared to ask a question about the Apex trigger system and would it make my M&P trigger better and I was almost attacked and told I was a total complete idiot for even mentioning such a mod to a, in their opinion "perfect" pistol...
Makes me appreciate the Mods and Owner of Kahr Talk that much more...We are free to talk about most anything here so long as a member remains civil and respectful of another members opinion....This is the best gun forum on the interweb and I am very happy to have found this place and very appreciative to the mods to allow me to post here...." Oh, and did I mention that Kahr's are #1 too? I've about decided that if I had to give up all my brands except one, I'd keep my Kahr's and buy LOTS of magazines. The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Re: Strange email from Smith & Wesson forum
I agree with that statement "kahr's are the best" at least that is my mileage. Not that I have had trouble out of my other guns but always seem to find my way back to my k9. My opinion the k9 is one of the best conceal carry 9's if not they best. Yes not plastic but I have a soft spot for metal guns.

+1 Kahr love, Kahrtalk love.
I have others but my 2 Kahrs are my only carry guns. They aren't the last guns I would part with... I will never part with them.
Not only are the Kahrtalk owners and moderators great but you members deserve credit too. By and large you are open, generous and helpful. Of course we can be biased and opinionated but what would you expect from a bunch of Kahr lovers?
