Given that argument, then what's the limit? I mean, what if the number was 100 million, 200 million. Where do we cut off the millions of children here as a result of illegal parent(s).
This is so easy. Lock down the border. Pass laws giving JAIL TIME to individuals or employers that make it easier/possible for illegals to live here. As you find them, bus them back (with their children). Done. So easy, a caveman could do it.

This bill has nothing to do with immigration...It should be called "The Guaranteed Democrat Voting Majority Bill"....When passed this bill will pretty much wrap up any hope for a Republican WH, Senate or Congress.....We are weaving together the rope that we will hang with....

You don't have to go that far. Jail time and busing wouldn't be required. All you have to do is stop the employment opportunities and they'll find their own way back across the border. You start levying harsh fines against those that employ them and/or sieze control of said businesses and they'll stop hiring them. Once there are no jobs, there will be no illegals. In the meantime, make it even tougher by not giving them ANY government benefits.Originally posted by chrish View PostGiven that argument, then what's the limit? But it's not going to happen. You want to know why? The politicians do not want to fix the problem. Instead they want to make them citizens so that they can get their votes and fix elections instead. That's what it's all about. Votes!”Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security.”

Oh yea, I know. My comment was more sarcastic/tongue-in-cheek...the glaringly obvious. It's definitely about the votes. Politicians are dirt. There might be a dozen between the House and Senate worth a crap.Originally posted by KoolBreeze View PostYou don't have to go that far. Jail time and busing wouldn't be required.
