I'm politically active. I've voted in every election since 1968 and write letters to my congressmen on issues that are important to me. I don't find polls and/or petitions to be of much value.

I'm politically active; I bend over and lube up every time the great imposter comes out with an agenda item.

        Are you Politically active?

Yes, I vote, but more importantly, I educate myself before voting (which is the time consuming part).

I occasionally write my peeps and let them know what's up. In D.C. I have a good representative, and two radically leftist senators.

I do vote in online poles when it is something important AND, when I can tell they aren't going to spam me or sell my info.

I need to stop thinking about this right now before I get worked up. I am headed for a calm relaxing day at the range.

I vote at every opportunity, my legislators from city/state/national are familiar with me as I keep them advised of my thoughts. I do not waste one sliver on polls because the are pure BS. The wording of a carefully crafted poll/petition can get most people to answer the way the pollster wants you to. It is called manipulation.

            Are you Politically active?

I just read again the first post and realized I probably steered the ship off course. pappy42's answer to the question threw me off. Sorry, I haven't had my coffee yet. Thread jacking is nothing new. I'll stick with my answer which includes participating in politics too.

I vote (religiously) regardless of the content on the ballot. federal, state, local. I write my congressmen a couple times per year, mostly topic specific things when they are on the front-burner in the news. I recently (last year) began scaling back other activities to become more active in local and state politics, to help stem the tide of liberal/progressive activities.

The more involved I become, the more disheartened I become with how hard its going to be to reverse course in this country. Its going to take a great awakening.

In the meantime, I'm just not seeing how we are really going to be able to reverse course, just slow the demise (IMO). I fear we are cooked at this point. ObamaCare and Immigration Reform will take their place along side heavy taxation, Social Security, Welfare, and Medicare to finish off what the progressives started 100 years ago. The economy and infrastructure in this country will not be able to bear the weight of these 2 additional moocher categories.

I vote, write letters to my congressmen on matters important to me, and do sign petitions if I support the cause. I also try to educate my liberal friends, although that is generally an exercise in futility. How long is everything going to be Bush's fault? You'd think that excuse would have run it's course by now. Reagan didn't spend 2 terms blaming Carter for the mess he inherited, he went and tried to fix the damage, not just pay it lip service and blame his predecessor.

                    Are you Politically active?

I vote and sometimes write to elected officials. I don't consider answering polls to be politically active, that's very passive.

It's not enough that we vote, we need to educate the low information voters and enlighten the useful idiots.

I vote. I keep up with the issues. I rarely write my representative when one voice might make a difference. It never has. I briefly served on a City sub committee.

I vote, although being from oregon, my vote gets swept away from all the scumbag leftists/communists that flooded my state with all the illegal aliens. And if a bunch of rino republicans in the house vote to give amnesty to all these illegal scum, I'll never vote for an R again.

Yes I listen to all the lies Washington expounds. Make up my mind based on anything other than what they say and vote. It doesn't seem to do any good though. I'm an optimist but I have none for the near future. Wish I could be more upbeat.

I agree but the "Low information" liberals (several) I talk to are completely indoctrinated mainly because they listen to all of the Liberal TV media. You want to guess which they are? They would never think of listening to the "fair and balanced" program, "It's all lies and hate". I left out that I must be a racist according to them. They need to look in a mirror.
