Interesting post Muggs but it seems logical that the ACLU be involved doesn't it? These are issues that transcend gun ownership and can be a launching point for other invasions into civil liberties for everyone.. In fact, I question the ACLU's motives though otherwise they would have stepped up to protect gun owners on a variety of topics years ago. So I am skeptical.

That^^^ and the fact remains there are a lot of puzzle pieces out there to easily be put together. The NSA, has that capability and probably were ordered to do that. BHO via DHS would love to know what they may walk into.

Today the ACLU has turned into a radical organization bent on forcing there will down the throats of Americans. Its history is something different way back when. Back in the day the ACLU and FBU under hoover worked together and were not the enemies they are today. Kinda makes you wonder?

That being said the enemy of my enemy is my "friend".

I believe the NRA and ACLU has worked together before. I don't remember the issue, just that it surprised a lot of people that those two organizations would work together.

HY*NDAI is to cars, what Caracal, Hi-Point, and Jennings is to handguns. The cars may or may not run ok, but the corporation SUCKS.

They worked together on the D.C. gun ban under Heller V. D.C. The Supreme court ruled that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right. You guys just gotta try to keep up.

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
