  • Four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the UN!

ALL ARE ONE-WORLDERS, UNDER THE USELESS NATIONS!

We came four votes away from the U.S. Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.
In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The Statement of Purpose from the Bill reads:
"To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,
would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms.
The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S.
and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.
    Baldwin (D-WI)
    Baucus (D-MT)

I don't know if this was already posted or how recent it is... just pasting here after much "character reduction" to fit!

Not one republican signed on. That says something. Republicans aren't the party of No. Republicans are the party of Hell No! And that's how it should be.

Our Constitutional Rights are not governed by the UN. This is just a resolution. It has NO defacto binding legal terms upon American citizens.

If Obama signs the UN Treaty and can "persuade" a few more senators to vote for the treaty, we're screwed. I don't recall what the vote has to be for ratification, but Obama has his DHS and FEMA "troops" (brownshirts) to enforce whatever actions he wishes... along with any number of UN member nations' troops that hate the USA anyhow!

They obviously don't like living here. I generally can argue both sides but can't on this one. Makes me wonder why they REALLY voted for this?
              cm9 and lovin it.

Keep yer chin up, Bawanna. It ain't over til it's over. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Hey, that was kinda catchy. I may have to copyright that one.

Listen to this man. He speaks the truth. There will be no foreigners walking our streets with light blue berets taking our guns away. However, it does show the willingness for our government to give away our sovereignty.

Anybody here old enough to have watched science fiction from the '50's and '60's. How everybody laughed. Landing on the moon. Orbiting Mars and others. Laser beams? How about Dick Tracy's wristwatch radio? A president who ignores the constitution and breaks laws repeatedly - and gets away with it? How silly. Never happen. Of course not. Let's all relax and not be concerned with it.

And not one of the RINO's voted for it. That surprised me. I think they know their jobs would have been at stake. Although I really hope McCain retires after this session.

The Federal Government doesn't have the authority to give up our Constitutional rights.

Really? Can you say Patriot act? How about the National Defense Authorization Act? How about the search at airports and our 4th amendment? What more?
