I've not heard anyone talk the sense that the good Dr. does including the new crop of politicians. Of course he's not a proven or declared canadite either. From what he says he's been vented pretty well by others and he declares he's clean and they won't find anything. As Eisenhower and others have said, the military has, by definition, a single minded approach. Always exceptions though.
Tact, isn't that what us sailors used to refer to as bullpucky. Quite frankly, I'd find it rather refreshing to hear a politician call spade a spade. There's a whole lot of tact (bullpucky) in government now.

      Muggsy,
Of course you are right and I as much said so in so many words but there are voters out there that conservatives would need to get-r-done and one way to chase them off is too blunt of talk. We can't do it by ourselves. for instance Christie is blunt with out being overly rude about it. We are outnumbered and have always been.
      cm9 and lovin it.

Since the Executive branch is chief law enforcement and can't be trusted to enforce itself, maybe set up a citizen's tribunal of randomly selected registered voters to act as a grand jury.
We have that but these guys believe in POWER and p!ss on the constituents!

Christy is blunt and rude. He has the same my way or the highway attitude that Obama has and he's just as arrogant. Not only that, but he isn't a true conservative. Christy is another RINO.

I didn't mean to insinuate he was a conservative.

I don't see a Constitutional need for military service. Plenty of good folks, liberty believing and constitutionally focused could do a good job leading the military (and have in the past). I'd rather see an amendment repealing the 17th and repealing or seriously cutting the legs out from under the 16th. Military services doesn't mean **** when you are a red-blooded socialist/progressive at the helm and there are PLENTY of those in office today that served. Let me refer you to John McCain, John Kerry, the list goes on and on and on.

Nope, founding fathers were on the mark...need to get back to that first.

FDR was his chief adviser's lapdog, and Harry Hopkins was Stalin's mole. Not unlike Obama and Valerie Jarret.

I didn't say the I thought that FDR was a good president. He was in fact an early liberal progressive as was Woodrow Wilson. FDR did prove to be a good C-in-C.
