Rand Paul: Moderate Like Christie Has Little Chance in 2016
    Thursday, 07 Nov 2013 10:53 AM
    By Bill Hoffmann

The sweeping re-election of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie proves moderates are an integral part of the Republican Party, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky says.

"There's room in the Republican Party for moderates, like Chris Christie. They seem to be the only ones that are winning in the Northeast," Paul told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"The other thing that might happen in the Northeast, if we had a little more libertarian-leaning Republicans, they would have a chance in the Northeast," Paul said Wednesday.

    Story continues below video.

"But there's room for moderates, like Chris Christie, and he's got a place in the party."

But conservatives are still the driving force of the GOP, Paul says.

"Conservatives are a much bigger force than the moderates, but it doesn't mean that we want to exclude moderates from our party," he said.

Still, with a nod to Christie, Paul said moderate Republicans will have a tougher time getting the Republican nomination for president.

"The road to the nomination for a moderate is actually pretty difficult because a lot of the Republican primaries are very conservative," he said.

"And so, someone who's most well-known for grabbing up federal money as much as they can get, probably that kind of attitude may or may not go off so well in a Republican primary."

Paul says the Republican Party let down Ken Cuccinelli, the GOP candidate for governor of Virginia, who narrowly lost to Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

"Some of the establishment let us down in that race. If you look back to the race when [Bob] McDonnell won four years ago, the establishment put a lot more money in for McDonnell than they did for Cuccinelli," he said.

"Cuccinelli could have won if everybody had stuck with him . . . He got very darn close, people were coming his way. He just didn't have any money in the end.

"This came from pressure from some establishment Republicans who don't like conservatives, and that's a disappointment because he really could have won . . . He was right there on the edge."

Paul said the Republican lack of muscle and outspending by Democrats doomed Cuccinelli.

"[The Democrats were] outspending two or three to one, and they were able to attack and attack and attack and define who he was. And so, he didn't have much of a chance without the money."

Paul says Americans are now aware of the multitude of problems the Affordable Care Act is causing.

"[It] may well be that everyone with an individual policy is ultimately canceled. A huge percentage are being canceled because anybody whose insurance policy has changed since 2009 is canceled, but eventually everybody's policy will change," he said.

"So really, it eventually means that nobody has an individual policy, nobody gets to choose their doctor, everybody in the individual market will be under an Obamacare plan and those are their only choices."

Paul, who is one of the nation's most vocal opponents of the Affordable Care Act, said virtually everybody in the country is going to be limited to four dependent insurance plans.

"[President Barack Obama] should have said, instead of you get to keep your doctor, it should have been you get to keep your doctor if I like your doctor or you get to keep your plan if I like your plan," Paul said.

"He didn't really put it that way, but that's the truth of the matter. You only get to keep your insurance plan or your doctor if he approves of them.

"The important thing to know is that we're not just talking about healthcare here. We're talking about the freedom of choice."

I guess if New Jersey is paradise to you, vote for the chief executive of its state government to spread the joy to all the states.

It really doesn't matter a pinch of sh!t who gets voted in 2016. Until we get rid of the Federal Reserve and the banksters that are calling the shots, and get rid of the corporate lobbyists nothing much is going to change. Money talks, and corrupts. There are some that haven't been corrupted, but I'd be willing to bet they are a small minority.
          Back to the Banksters:
One of the Rothchilds (who are a major owner of the Fed thru subsidiaries) said something like
Give me control of a nations finances and I don't care who controls the government. A privately owned bank in charge of our finances can cause inflation, or deflation, manipulate the stock market, and generally cause chaos if they choose to do so. They pretty much have the Government by the cajones.
One example of the Rothschilds' greed and total lack of ethics, was at the Battle of Waterloo. The Rothchilds had spies that saw the English defeat the French, and got word back to the Rothchilds, before the official couriers made it back to England, to announce that the English had won the battle. Rothchild immediately caused a rumor to be started with the financial circles, that the French had won, which caused a great deal of panic as certain investments would lose large amounts of money or become worthless if the French had won. Rothschild then bought up billions of dollars worth of these securities for pennies on the dollar. As it was, he ended up not just doubling, or tripling his fortune, but increased it by TWENTY times. They are even more ruthless nowadays.
These freaking banksters manipulate countries into wars, financing all sides through subsidiaries, all for the sake of profit, selling arms and equipment to the various armies through subsidiaries in each country. They sit back and rake in the money, while millions die.

It's strange that President Kennedy had just signed paperwork to eliminate or place controls on the Federal Reserve, and was killed within a couple of weeks. Johnson immediately reversed that order as one of his first official acts.
Woodrow Wilson helped create the Fed, by keeping enough of his cronies in Washington, while most of Congress went home for Christmas break. They opened Congress just long enough to pass the Federal Reserve Act, then closed it and went home, while Wilson signed the bill into law.
Wilson later regretted what he had done, and was haunted by the fact that he had "destroyed his country".

Iran has one of the few central banks not controlled by the Rothschild/bankster group, so guess who is being set up as an evil empire that needs to be conquered. True, Iran is not any friend of ours, but are they as evil as they are portrayed by the bankster owned media? I don't want to see them get nuclear weapons, but are they as close to it as the news would have us think? The banksters have almost total control of the Media, and decide what will be reported and what won't. Which is why A major conservative newsletter announced that the only REAL news was found on the internet, where it couldn't be manipulated by the banksters.

In 2000 there were 7 countries without a Rothschild controlled central bank, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, and Iran. Now only the last 3 on the list are free of Rothschild central banks. 9/11 happened, and 2 more countries got Rothschild central banks; courtesy of the USA, and our invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. Pretty convenient for the banksters wouldn't you say?
Afghanistan had the added benefit of being allowed to grow opium poppies again, which the Taliban had strictly forbidden. The poppy ban was putting a hurt on the big banks in Europe when they stopped getting their supply of drug money. But the US came to their aid, and more poppies than ever are growing, and the banks are once again full of drug money.
So how exactly does the War on Drugs work? We have a chance to shut down around 70% of the world's opium supply, yet we turn a blind eye to it. I guess when the banksters are making millions or billions from the heroin trade, we turn a blind eye, instead we spend beaucoup bucks on busting street junkies, and drug gangs when we could have made it much harder to get the drugs to begin with.
I'd bet quite a bit, that the banksters are pretty heavy into the drug production, and distribution, although very well insulated from the actual people handling the drugs.
Anywhere there is big money to be made you will find their grimy paws.

Iceland did a very heroic thing by throwing out or jailing the banksters and taking control of their Government, without a drop of blood being shed. Then they told the banksters of the world to screw off, they weren't paying them crap. We need to do the same here, or at the very least get rid of the Federal Reserve, which is about as federal as Federal Express.

I read that one goal of QE is to inflate the dollar, so we can pay our foreign (Chinese) debts. They don't care about the effect of inflation on you and me. We're nobody, just serfs.
