Sad but revealing how that article shows what hate mongering that website harbors. Atrocities committed by both sides? Really? That's news? Anytime there is domination of one group of people by another, that scenario is usually the norm. Blacks were happy to work for the whites who built up the strong economy? Complete and utter nonsense. The "white savior" myth used to justify how things went in South Africa, and in many parts of the world, is antiquated and false. Mandella a saint? Any free thinking rational person could easily conclude that Madella had some blood on his hands at sometime in his life as a revolutionist. Trying to associate the tribal strife in other areas of Africa as a feeble attempt to implicate Mandella as the reason for it is just plain over reaching sensationalism and the very tactic used by mainstream media which , I am sure, this group feels they are above doing.

The only merit that article had, after one gets through the white Christian superiority undertones, is making people realize that things are not as black and white(sic) as they seem.

I am not doubting the veracity of the article. I am doubting the timbre of the notion of The Great White Hope mentality that is implied in it. I was alive too during Apartheid and saw it first hand. It was their land, their wars their business. The Great White Hope did nothing but throw gasoline on the situation in order to gain control. For the record, Mandela was a murderous SOB that basically managed to achieve the same status as the PLO and Arafat did. Over time, become worshiped by the entire world as struggling against oppression even though what you REALLY did was murder civilians.

I learned a few things about Mandela I didn't know. Sounds like they should have executed him.
What I have observed, is since apartheid ended, and blacks took control of South Africa, that it has basically went to hell. Johannesburg has about 50 murders a day, rape is rampant, because the native men have no respect for women, babies are raped because the native men believe having sex with a virgin will cure AIDS. And many other atrocities occur on a daily basis. This may sound racist, but it seems to me that blacks are simply unable to maintain a civilized society, without reverting back to tribal, or gang warfare, and jungle attitudes. Johannesburg was once a very modern, civilized city, the jewel of southern Africa, but is rapidly turning into Detroit, which underwent a similar transformation as whites fled the city in droves, leaving blacks in control, and is now bankrupt, neck deep in corruption of city officials, and ranked as the most dangerous city in the USA. I think much of it is because so many of them are prone to crime and violence. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that most light skinned people have lived more or less "civilized" lives for thousands of years, while most blacks are just a few generations removed from the jungle, and haven't adapted as a race to modern civilization yet. So maybe they retain their more primitive mentality. I don't know that's just my best guess. Take the "Knockout Game" where a cowardly punk thug punches or even beats the hell out of some old unsuspecting white person, and seem to really enjoy that they inflicted some pain on some old defenseless person. What kind of degenerate came up with that and thought it was fun? Sure wasn't anyone civilized. And it sure has caught on. I suppose after enough thugs get shot it will taper off. I wonder if maybe they think they are getting even for Trayvon or some crap like that. If so we can thank NBC, and MSM, and the Revs. Al and Jesse for turning it into a racial issue.
And why is it that 10,000 white college kids can vacation at some beach town, and leave it relatively unscathed, while if you take 10,000 black college age kids in the same town, they engage in all manner of fighting and violence and vandalism, and leave the town in shambles.
Some blacks still whine about slavery and all the pain it has caused them, when none of them or their parents were around during those times. We did have segregation, but that is a far away from being in owned by someone. Although many of them are know "owned" by their drug dealer or gang leader.
They should be grateful their ancestors were brought here as slaves, or else they'd most likely be back in Africa involved in some war, or eating bugs to keep from starving, instead of living here and getting paid to have babies and doing as little as possible to support themselves.
Now there is a middle-class of blacks, that DO support themselves, and have traditional families, and are good God fearing people. I wish there were more of those type of people, instead of the lowlife, welfare, gimme gimme, bunch. Dr. James David Manning is a good spokesman for the good God fearing folks. His YouTube videos make a lot of sense. And I in no way mean that it's only blacks that make up the lowlife crowd. That bunch is made up of all colors. Welfare has wreaked havoc on some parts of the population, destroying the traditional family, making it too easy for these lazy ass bums to stay fed and clothed and housed, without lifting a finger to help themselves out, other than maybe having to sign some form or something. I think some of it is due to the "Whitey Owes Me, because my great granpa was a slave" mentality. It wouldn't be so bad, if it was used for short term emergency situations, but too damn many make it a lifestyle. I just want to beat the crap out of a person when I see them in their high dollar sneakers, trendy new clothes, talking on their iPhone, and paying for their groceries (steaks, lobster, king crab legs, etc.) with a govt. assistance card. Thanks muggs, I didn't want to come out sounding like a racist or bigot. But merely reciting facts often makes you appear racist. I certainly don't buy into this "white guilt" thing they keep talking about, I guess because we are white we share guilt over something that happened in the 1600's thru half of the 1800's. My great Grandfather was a Captain in the Union Army, according to my Grandmother. Grandma used to say he fought to free the slaves, and as far as I know, no one in my family was a slave owner, so I feel no guilt over what others did and things I had nothing to do with and no control over. I hope the election of Obama has purged us of any of this "white guilt". The only thing though is he is probably making a whole new generation of racists and white supremists with his divisionary policies. I think he's undone a great deal of the work done by MLK and others. I feel like the races are more divided now, than they were back in the 60's and early 70's. I don't judge a person by skin color, it's what's in their hearts and mind that counts to me.
I'm sick of being called racist for not liking Obama's Presidency, it's not his color, it's the way he is effing over our country that pisses me off. So if someone wants to call me a racist, I just say I suppose I am, because Obummer ain't worth 2 pinches of sh!t. Neither is Holder or Hillary, and much of Congress.

Interesting. I am called a lot of things but liberal is usually way down on the list. Furthermore, I re read my replies and I don't see the liberal slant to them. They maybe provocative to the main membership here but certainly not liberal IMHO.
