Fox news is reporting that the government is signing up people in prison for Obamacare and Medicaid. This is being done to inflate the number of people signing up. Since people in prison don't have the money to pay for Obamacare, you as a taxpayer will be paying the bill for them. Anyone who votes for a democrat in the next election is the symbol of the democrat party personified.

Don't we already pay their medical bills? I have no idea what happens when an inmate needs medical care, but don't they have doctors there?

So insurance is redundant, and paying the subsidy is a total sham.

I work at a hospital and we do get/see prisoners for things like strokes etc. I'm not sure exactly how it's paid for but I think the hospital has a contract with the state or something. Real interesting when you go to see someone in chains and having guards watch everything you do. Once they are medically "stable" they are sent back to the prison. Assume they get the rest of whatever medical care etc. they need there.

The point is that the government is inflating the numbers through obfuscation to make it look like the program is doing better than it really is. If the states are paying for the inmates healthcare why do they need to sign up for medicaid or Obamacare?

When I get OLD (older than I am…59) I'll just go to JAIL instead of a NURSING home!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be taken care of….free to me, $$$$$ for the tax payer!
