Bush tried to prevent the housing debacle, but the Dem's "won" that battle... just as they were convinced that there were WMD's and supported the invasion of Iraq. BUT... Hussein... Saddam H., not Barry H., had time to ship everything to Syria. Suprise no WMD's... IF you don't count the aging chemical weapons the allies DID find... just not enough for the naysayers.

Thank goodness that SCOTUS didn't fall for the cherry-picking votes by Gore and cronies in Florida... and that Florida's votes went to Bush... IN SPITE of the MSM declaring victory in Flordia before the polls closed in the predominantly conservative Panhandle of Florida.

Wynn, you and I think quite alike. That makes you a man of great perception.

I didn't serve in Vietnam. I was in the Navy. I served aboard the USS Nitro AE-23 an ammunition ship that rearmed our warships off the coast of Vietnam. Two of my friends from high school were killed in Vietnam and one was badly wounded losing a leg and an eye. One one was a chopper pilot, one a tank commander and the third was a grunt. My contribution to the war effort was minimal though I spent six years on active duty.

Time out. Jeb Bush just stated that entering our country illegally isn't a crime, but rather an act of love. I'm sorry, but I can't vote for a man who is obviously insane. Game, set, match.

Well…muggsy you did your duty and that is what counts. You didn't go to Canada!!
My Hubby was drafted and he was in the infantry, 5th/60th Battalion of the 3rd brigade 9th infantry. He was also with the 25th infantry training unit that taught the new guys coming "in country".
Hubby was there at the end of the war.

Oh by the way, pretty much everybody in his family hunted so he was schooled
in guns from a young age……….and yet in ALL the fire fights (there were at least
            12) he never remembers looking at the sights.
            INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought once upon a time that Jeb would have been the better second Bush president, but if he believes Common Core is good and that illegal immigration is LOVE, then he's a RINO and the GOP is crazy to consider him.

GW Bush was definitely the best man for the job at the time he served. Gore would have been a disaster and McClain, too, but not as bad as the POS we have now.

I hope that the Tea Party can come up with a good candidate. The GOP sucks and will probably snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I was one of those who people volunteered to serve. I had seven Uncles who served in WWII and two cousins who served in Korea. I felt I owed a debt to those who served before me and who enabled me to live free in the greatest country in the world. I'm one of those people who the liberals consider a fool.
