Just saw it on the news. For some reason the TV was on CBS and they

showed some libtard woman declaring the end of the civilized world in Georgia.

Michigan almost expanded their carry zones. You would have had to take some additional training and then your CPL would have a special designation on it.

The law passed easily and the Bill was on the Gov. desk and then "Connecticut" happened and he vetoed it.

Tues (April 29) beginning at 10 am there will be a second amendment march in Lansing…MI's State Capitol.
Hope to see a BUNCH of you there!!!!

Yea, I saw that too. Scott Pelly is definitely an anti gun anchor. I've often thought about boycotting his broadcast, but every national news channel seems to be anti gun. I don't watch the news very often for that reason.

Tune in to Fox news. No anti-gun bias there.

Awesome sign Jeep, I love the We will kill you back part.....I'm glad Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed this bill into law which allows we Georgians to legally carry in more places....I understand the law also eliminates the need to get fingerprinted every time you renew your CCW so that should save some of the license fee....

Local Law Enforcement seems to be ok with it too....Here is a letter to Gov. Deal from Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry:

"In my opinion, the license language in HB60 is a direct message to Peace Officers of Georgia that honest, law abiding citizens have the right to proceed unhindered and unobstructed in their daily lives and should not be subject to intense law enforcement scrutiny due to the fact that they choose to lawfully carry a firearm for protection"....

Georgia is still a little backward and a "Good Ole Boy" state in many ways but with this bill to ease restrictions on citizens who want to carry they got it right....We have to thank www.Georgiacarry.org which is a great group of folks who really got behind this bill and helped get it passed....If you have a group like this in your state be sure to join and hopefully some of the more restrictive state will come over to Georgias way of thinking....

Not to break the thread....but good to know about Fox. Thanks muggsy. I will give them a try on my next news watch.

I guess one of the things I hate about the news is that it is all drama or bad news.....gets depressing. You know what I mean? My wife and I prefer to focus on positive things and good health. If I don't watch the news for weeks or even a month, I never feel like I've really missed much or am the lesser for it. We don't subscribe to the paper either. I guess we are like moles or hermits.

The only thing wrong with FOX News is that they have a few libs working for them and invite others to offer differing opinions. Of course, the libs don't like to allow other people to talk... or to let FOX impose any real fairness on who gets to talk, so the libs talk over others trying to get their turn. The Conservatives are usually polite, but can't get a word in uninterrupted when they are allowed a turn at speaking.
