Jesus did NOT say, "If you don't want to be perfect, the Romans shall confiscate your treasure, squander it on bureaucracies, get the poor addicted to handouts, and then you may enter the kingdom of heaven."
What's always bothered me is, if you give all your money to the poor, how are they supposed to enter heaven? Now they have to give it to someone.
