Well, They were quoted in the news the other day as saying they were coming to kill the Sunni's. Must have been a mistranslation or they left of the Sufi part. I guess they are killing Sunni Sufis according to another site. I have no idea what Sunni Sufi is and how they differ from a Sunni. Ok I was wrong about ISIS being Shia, did that make your day codegeek? (just kidding around with you) The other stuff was correct though about where the Shia's are located and such and Saddam was a Sunni. You win on the ISIS affiliation though, want me to send you a dollar? I just read in another article that Shiite's are heading the Govt. now in Iraq, so ISIS is out to mess with them, and get the Sunni's back in power. A quick lookup of Sufi's says they are into some kind of Mysticism. Probably something like the Jews and their Kabal. I just wish they'd leave the Christians alone.

I look at Islam and Christianity as being similar in one respect. They both have sects. Sunni, Shiite, etc. or Baptist, Methodist, etc. In the big picture, it is the religion that identifies them and the sects only specify a some relatively minor differences within that religion. I care no more whether a Muslim is Sunni or Shiite any more than I care whether a Christian is a Baptist or Methodist.
