John Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; John Legal now has $31,231.00.

Juan Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200 per year.Juan Illegal pays no taxes. Juan Illegal now has $31,200.00.

John Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. John Legal now has $24,031.00.

Juan Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year. Juan Illegal still has $31,200.00.

John Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. John Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000..00 per year. John Legal now has $18,031.00.

Juan Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare. Juan Illegal still has $31,200.00.

John Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. John Legal now has 9,631.00.

Juan Illegal receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy. Juan Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Juan Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.

John Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. John Legal now has $7,231.00.

Now, when they reach college age, John Legal's kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though John has been paying for state schools through his taxes, while Juan Illegal's kids "go to the head of the class" because they are a minority.

John Legal and Juan Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but John paid for them and Juan did not pay.

If you vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens... You are part of the problem!

The politico's in Washington who sponsor these give-aways are going to put Juan on the path to citizenship to get his vote. That's when Juan is going to know what it's like to live like John. If Juan is smart, he just may decline the offer and continue to stay with the government subsidies.

Don't get me going, guys.
I was a loving, compassionate follower of the Christ, helping my fellow man, caring for the sick and poor, until I moved to southern Claifornia.
I volunteered to teach, for free, immigrant adults - English as a second language (ESL) and most academic subjects.
Until
I saw how some of them milked the system.
The final straw was with this "poor" woman I was teaching ESL to (she NEVER bothered to practice at home) - BTW, she even told me after our 6th lesson that she "had no papers". Anyway, one day after class my 2nd student was absent, so I headed out to the car park immediately.
Miss "poor" immigrant was on her iPhone, driving off in a sparkling new SUV as I was walking up to my Chevy (great but inexpensive). I got out my old clamshell cell phone and texted my wife - "conned again, by another sob story".
If you want to come to this country LEARN the LANGUAGE !!!
Why should I listen to a dozen different languages when I call up a government office in California???

How is it the Indian immigrants from South Asia learn and speak English well? (I don't care about the accents of the first generation immigrants - at least they speak the language of their host country)
The Chinese and Indians seem to be fine, with low crime rates, successful, and an almost zero use of the welfare system.

So what gives with our fellow-Christian/Catholic Hispanic and "African American" residents?



BTW, I'm not in the KKK, and also, I've voted about evenly for both the Dems and the Repubs in all the past elections since I turned 18 long ago.

If you check your history books, they'll tell you that the Brits have been in that neck of the woods for over a hundred years and they taught English to anyone who was able to go to school. We, on the other hand, prevented our minorities from getting an education in order to keep them under control right up to the War between the States so now all some of them speak is Ebonics.

Was it really because of controlling them or was it simply the cost of education?
Having travelled the world and lived in several different countries, I now feel that we appear to be more into"me" and less into "us".
Its "what's in it for me?"
The wierd contradiction to that feeling is that we in the USA are the most generous whenever there is a disaster anywhere in the world.
Some have told me that it is because it is easier to write a check than to do something. But my response has been.... - BUT we DO write that check and we do give.
Anyway, we are a complex lot - socially, religiously, emotionally and mentally

Yes, you have it right about English being taught by the Brits in the Orient. We, for the most part from the times of the colonies right up to the Civil War prevented the slaves from getting an education because it would stop them from leaving the plantations. An uneducated slave would have a hard time making a living as a free man but an educated freed slave could to some extent. For most slave owners, it wasn't the cost of educating slaves, it was to teach them only enough to perform a function and to keep them under control. IMO,"What's in it for me"? isn't all bad if the "me" is talking about a fair share but it seems as the years go by, the "me" part has been growing quickly in all directions. Yes, we "write checks" in times of disasters and also to bribe other countries to behave themselves. We even write checks to countries that hate us. We write checks to the United Nations. We are in over our heads in debt and little effort is made in Washington to stop the spending. If we don't stop printing money, the dollar in our lifetime is going to be worthless. Just my two cents.

The Dollar is already pretty worthless compared to what it was when my Dad was a kid 100 years ago. And it is worth about 1/7 or less what it was when the wife & I got married in 1967. That is in my adult lifetime.

My good man, obviously its the diet. Simply put, the African and Central American (and even the Mexican) do not have a proper curry in their diet. Any subject of the Crown, will attest that a proper curry will quickly send one to the bogs, whereupon English is universal language of supplication of mercy.

Should we care to feed the negroe, the indiginous from days of old in the new world, and other lesser quantified peoples a proper curry, well then lad, we'l have them begging for the iced eels qucker than a late night Chunnel ride with a Mohammedan Prince!
