This is a 7 minute video, about what some people envision as the future for mankind. Some really weird stuff, like advancing robotics to the point that you can first have your brain implanted into and android body, then getting to the point your personality and memories are stored electronically. It scared the hell out of me, to think that people are actually working towards this. I can't really explain it, but this is the future that some are working towards. Where those that want too, or can afford it, become immortal, and become their own "gods". I've heard stories that some people like the Rothschilds, and other Elite are putting a lot of money into this type of research. I guess when you have half of the world's wealth, you don't want to die and leave it to someone else. I don't think the Soul, or Spirit, or God is mentioned at all, I guess if you are immortal, you don't need any of those? <shivers> Supposed to happen by 2045. If they want to grow me a new kidney on a 3d organic printer, that is one thing, but this? I don't think so. Oh, violence and crime will be a thing of the past, is how it relates to firearms, so if you don't need them, then they might as well be outlawed?

I doubt any of that will come to pass. We'll all be dead of Ebola or our heads lopped off by ISIS before technology gets that far. And in the New World Caliphate, all books and technology will be banned. There'll only be jocko with his flock of android sheep hiding in a cave somewhere.

My grandmother lived to be 100. She witnessed the birth of the electric light, radio, the telephone, television, the automobile, flight, modern medicine, atomic energy, and space travel. The only thing she feared was fear itself. What in the hell is wrong with you guys? Live and enjoy life is my motto. If you want to become some kind of soulless robot that will live forever, be my guest. But like me, I think you will probably be dead by the time they get that far.

Well, I'll get my immortality the old fashioned way. I just can't fathom someone that wants to stick around on this plane of existence so bad that they'd let themselves be turned into some kind of soulless robot type thing. I imagine that it probably would take a great deal of money to have all that performed, and I suspect many that could afford it don't look forward to a very pleasant afterlife and want to try and avoid it. A person's soul has to go somewhere, and I don't think it can be transferred to some electronic device, so what will happen to someone that has there personality and memories and things transferred to a machine. I think without a soul, it could be nothing but evil. That is what scares me. What reason would it have to have any morals? I doubt if things will ever get that far though. I think that and most other things will all come to a stop at some point in the near future.

Those are some deep thoughts, Tman. Without a soul, there's no point to keeping any sort of body on Earth.

Atheists are idiots in my opinion. I don't see how a person can deny the existence of a higher power, or creator. There is just too many things that evolution can't explain.
I think some people choose to be atheists, out of convenience, so they can pursue whatever they wish without feeling any guilt. It's been said, that there are no atheists in a foxhole, I would really like to know the truth in that statement. I suspect it to be true, but don't really know. I've seen some people turn into believers awfully quick when faced with life or death situations. I doubt that anyone really dies as an atheist. I think at the moment of truth, they are going to get religion very quickly. But who knows. Again that is just my opinion.

For anyone interested, there is actually a book out there called The Last Christian written by David Gregory. It's based on this same kind of theme. It's about a missionary who comes back to the US and finds that Christianity is essentially extinct and people have found a way to transfer their "mind" into an artificial brain etc, but do actually lose their "soul" in doing so. As for me I'll wait for my immortality the way God intended. Just think if when we were inside the womb and figured out a way to stay in there forever what all we would have missed in doing so. Fetus's forever, how sad. I believe God has much more for us and will give us just the kind of body we need for it when the time comes.
